Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his “big brother” on Monday and stated that Telangana must emulate Gujarat if it is to advance.
In addition, the chief minister declared that he would not oppose the federal administration while pleading with the prime minister for assistance in advancing the state.
“Our goal is to help achieve the ambitious goal of a USD 5 trillion economy,” Reddy continued.
In addition, he claimed that Telangana and Hyderabad will help the Centre advance the nation’s growth while he made a funding request for the metro rail project.
According to Reddy, Telangana state couldn’t advance like Gujarat without the backing of Prime Minister Modi.
While visiting Telangana in front of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Modi on Monday laid the groundwork for over 30 development projects valued at over ₹56,000 crore in Adilabad.
According to the PM, the Centre was fully assisting the people of Telangana in fulfilling their aspirations for development.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan were also present at the PM’s formal event in Adilabad.
PM Modi dedicated the 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli by NTPC at the occasion, among other projects.
Based on ultra-supercritical technology, Telangana will receive 85% of its power from this facility. Among all NTPC power plants in the nation, it will also have the greatest power generation efficiency, at about 42%.
According to Modi, the ₹56,000 crore projects will usher in a new age of development for a number of states.
He went on to say that with 8.4% growth in the preceding quarter, India was the “only country” in the world to emerge as a major economy.
